Today is exactly 3 days that I've been staying at home on Medical Leave. Right after work on Monday, Dear fetched me after work and we headed to Tampines Mall for our dinner. Then, I planned to meet up with Wawa and Halim too.

Along the way, in between Tampines Mall & Tampines MRT station, I was hit by a car. A stationery car, without the hazard light on, suddenly as our bike pass the car, the passenger's door swung open and hit right into my knee. My knee went numb and cramp. I can't move an inch. I was in pain. Luckily, there's another car on our left and i was leaning against the car, or else both of us will already fall to the road and it will be more dangerous if an oncoming car hit us.

The uncle didn't claim anything from us. He was very worried bout my condition. He even volunteered to be the eye witness. Back to the stationery car, the driver was a 22 years old guy. The passenger who open the door without checking is also 22 years old guy. I nearly cursed them and cause I was in deep pain, i couldn't stop shouting at them. Really! Their reaction was sooo stupid.

I was lucky that a few mat mat helped to push the bike to the side of the road. I was still on the bike coz i can't barely move.

Ambulance came shortly and I was brought to the hospital. It take me 4 hours to settle everything.

My leg hurts. It was very weak. I can't walk now. Im on a week mc. Xray showed ok. But i don't understand why i can't walk. I suffered a deep cut right in the middle of my knee. It hurts so much and I can see pus coming out from the cut.

Wan arrived at the hospital shortly. He skidded and suffered some abrasion. Same timing as my accident. He was so worried that he travelled all the way to see me. Then I took a cab home. Halim and Abg ayot visited me. Dear brought me some food coz my stomach is empty.

Back to the accident, we decided a private settlement. All agreed but at the very last minute, the other party lodge a police report because they are afraid that we would claim a tremendous amount of $$$ from them. Just by reporting, the driver was slapped with a $200 fine and 6 demerit point because of the mistake.

If i were to follow what my insurance agent told me, I would have engaged a lawyer to fight for my case. Till then, I still have to wait for them to compensate me. I am already too kind to let them settled in 5 installments.

For now, I juz pray for a speedy recovery. I wanna go out once more. Do you know that using the stretcher is tiring?
